1. About this policy
This policy describes how Package Please handles personal information when you use our website and personal shopping app. Package Please is operated by Something Delightful, LLC. “We” and “our” refer to Something Delightful, LLC.
2. Information we collect
We process your Apple sign-in identifier, the name you provide, account sessions, shopping preferences, interests, spending limits, conversations, saved taste memories, feedback, and shopping permissions. We also process your delivery address, order and tracking details, and payment-related records such as payment identifiers, card brand and last four digits, authorizations, charges, and refunds. Stripe receives your card details directly; we do not store your full card number. Our servers process technical request information, including IP addresses, requested paths, and error information, to operate and protect the service.
3. How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, personalize recommendations, research products, enforce your shopping limits, process purchases and refunds, arrange delivery, respond to order requests, maintain security, and keep transaction records. Your conversations, preferences, and relevant shopping context are shared with OpenAI to provide AI-powered conversations and product research. Do not include information in chat that you do not want processed for these purposes.
4. Who receives information
We use service providers for hosting, database infrastructure, AI, authentication, and payments. Apple provides sign-in; OpenAI powers AI features; Stripe processes payments. Authorized operators review information needed for shopping and fulfillment. Retailers, carriers, and any fulfillment provider used for your order receive the information necessary to purchase and deliver it, including your shipping details. These providers may also process information under their own privacy policies. We may disclose records when required by law or when necessary to protect users and the service.
5. Website storage and tracking
This informational website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or browser cookies. Server request logs may still be generated when you visit. The iPhone app uses secure local storage for sign-in credentials and stores account information needed to provide the app.
6. Retention and security
We retain account information while needed to provide the service and handle outstanding obligations. Delivery addresses are encrypted on the server, and app sign-in credentials are kept in iOS Keychain. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Account deletion removes personal profile, conversation, agent-run, and address data; some transaction records are retained for reconciliation and related obligations. Service providers retain their own records under their policies.
7. Your choices and rights
In the app, you can update your preferences, review and remove saved taste memories, pause shopping, revoke shopping permission, and request account deletion from Your account. Active orders may need to be resolved before deletion can complete. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, or object to certain processing. These rights are subject to applicable law.
8. Children and international processing
Package Please is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. Service providers may process information in countries other than where you live, whose data protection rules may differ.
